The band: Last month, the band finished their first headline tour of the UK, ‘The Tour of Struggle’. Following their recent pledge to the public to help get them to America and a fundraising gig, the band are due to head over to Austin, Texas this month to play SXSW Festival. The band released their debut album Champagne Holocaust and caused plentiful controversy throughout 2013 with their gnarly sound and activist antics including hanging a celebratory sign outside a pub in London when Margaret Thatcher passed.

The sound: Yellow Woman is less-typically Fat White Family, leaving aside their signature fantastic racket. Boasting reverbed vocals, key-driven melodies and a fainter sound, Yellow Woman is haunting and powerful amongst a triple A side collective.

The lowdown: Featuring brand new tracks Touch The Leather and this reviewed track Yellow Woman, the new single is a triple A side called Hate Hate Hate
and is due for release on 10th March 2014.
