FOLLOWING a triumphant show at Tenement Trail last weekend which saw them perform in front of a packed out Nice N Sleazys, Glasgow band Fauves have shared details of their very first EP titled ‘Les Fauves’.

Looking to build on a prosperous period that has seen them seize the attention of local tastemakers and numerous publications with their catchy songwriting and striking originality, the five-piece have followed up the highly addictive ‘Afterglow’ and the equally delectable ‘Hit Like This’ with another stellar track which brilliantly reinforces their boundless potential.

As the first song to be revealed from the upcoming EP, ‘Twilight Daylight’ is a gleaming preview of what’s to come; iridescently dreamy one minute to joyfully unfettered the next, frontman Ryan Caldwell’s breezy lead vocal sits aloft a glitzy combination of warped guitar, twinkling keys and one of their now signature funky basslines. Exuding the vibrant energy of 70s disco with a Bee Gees-like  flare, it’s another exuberant offering from the five-piece which marks them out as a refreshingly original and colourful addition to Scotland’s music scene.

‘Twilight Daylight’ will feature on ‘Les Fauves’ which is slated for arrival on 17th November.
