EDNBURGH outfit Fright Years have returned with a soaring new anthem called ‘Let Me Down’.
The band were starting to build a reputation for their dreamy vocals and cinematic, anthemic brand of indie rock last year thanks to singles like ‘Every Weekend’ and ‘Warning Signs’.
And after hunkering down in the studio to hone in their craft, they’ve returned in blistering fashion with their first release of 2023. ‘Let Me Down’ takes those early signs of potential and sets them alight – striding forwards with driving guitars, a powerful lead vocal and the kind of soaring chorus that any arena-rock band would be proud of.
