FRIGHTENED RABBIT member Billy Kennedy has returned with his own new project called ‘Haiver’.
Joined by his friend Brett, the pair have made a number of live appearances around the country – notably at Connect Festival this summer on the Tiny Changes stage and at King Tuts Summer Nights.
Now they’re ready to unleash some recorded material in the world in the shape of new single ‘So Slow’ – a gently picked acoustic ballad that will appeal to fans of his former band. The Frightened Rabbit influence is undeniable; it’s imbued with that kind of Scottish melancholy and heartfelt vulnerability that they long made their own, with Kennedy’s soft vocals a nice complement to the stripped-back instrumental.
