KARIMA Francis has shared a dreamy new single called ‘Say’.
Speaking of the song, she said “Say’ is about the isolation caused by Covid -19 and how that can impact relationships closest to you.The song lyrics came to me whilst I was one may daily run, the whole cycle of Covid repetition was becoming overwhelming. My ongoing battles with CPTSD (complex post-traumatic stress disorder) became more outward and started to impact those around me.”
The beautifully restrained song floats along like a wispy cloud – Karima’s soothing vocals move over gentle acoustics and rhythms as it eases its way into your consciousness. A track to find comfort in, the beauty is all in the subtlety – it’s all about gentle hues rather than big flourishes.
