THEY may have only just dropped their latest album Flying Microtonal Banana last week, but King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are already previewing the release of the next one with a new video called ‘Murder of The Universe’. In a surprising manoeuvre that no other band would dream of pulling off, the remarkable psych-rock outfit have proven once again why they have gained a reputation as being one of the most outrageously prolific and consistent bands of the modern music scene.

Showing no signs of creative fatigue, the band took to Facebook on the morning of the release of their ninth album Flying Microtonal Banana with a sixty second clip titled ‘Murder Of The Universe’ that featured a creepy narration over a backdrop of dark and invigorating new music. Culminating in what could possibly be the new artwork, the video sent shockwaves among their fans who proceeded to speculate wildly about the prospective tenth record.

The band announced plans to release an astonishing five albums this year with four still to come – more details will be announced in due course. Check out the clip below.
