TODAY, we’re delighted to welcome back the rich, soulful tones of kitti.

After releasing her stunning debut EP ‘Young, Careless and Free’ last year, the Glaswegian singer-songwriter was named ‘Best Female Breakthrough’ at the 2020 Scottish Music Awards and ‘Best Vocalist’ at the 2020 Scottish Jazz Awards. Not a bad start for an artist who is still only in the very formative stages of her career.

Since those big wins, kitti has been closed away in the studio, working on a fresh batch of material and carefully forging out her next steps.

And we’re delighted to confirm that today we can hear the first product of those sessions – ‘wonderful world’.

Featuring Liam Shortall on production duties, the corto.alto frontman lends his masterful touch to the track’s warm, grooving production – all lush backing vocals, old school brass and vintage flourishes.

With a nod to Louis Armstrong’s ‘What a Wonderful World’, it’s all about those vocals though as kitti effortlessly delivers her sermon on appreciating the small things in life. It’s a real catchy, feel-good number that’s perfect for the summer months ahead.

Check out ‘wonderful world’ below.
