BRIDGING oceans with their sound is the American/Welsh duo Lewis and Leigh. Alva Leigh from Tennessee and Al Lewis from North Wales combine with sweet harmonies and a blend of folk Americana that they describe as Celticana.
Their track ‘Heart Don’t Want’ will feature on their upcoming third EP titled Hidden Truths. It flutters between styles ranging from folk, Americana, blues and country, but centers around the pairs dynamic vocal relationship. The simplicity of the song will catch you, and the pop chorus will keep you hooked in what is a toe-tapping single.
The pair even garnished praise from none other than Ryan Adams, who is clearly a fan after sending a tweet to the band saying “awesome songs”.
Hidden Truths comes out on the 16th October during the bands extensive UK tour, which will feature a show at Glad Cafe in Glasgow on the 10th October, and Sneaky Pete’s in Edinburgh on the 11th.
