THE thing that’s truly remarkable about Glasgow’s very own Baby Strange is the sheer devotion they inspire, inciting mayhem among their now sizable fanbase at the very thought of new music.
Preparing to embark on a jaunt around the UK which includes a very exciting homecoming show at St Luke’s, the band have unveiled the suitably raucous video for upcoming single ‘Pleasure City’.
Built around an unrepentant rock stomp, ‘Pleasure City’ has been a staple of the band’s live sets for a considerable amount of time prior to its official debut. Spurred on by a hypnotic bassline and an arms aloft chorus that many stadium-minded bands would wish to have in their repertoire; both the track itself and the manner in which it has been produced serve to strengthen the band’s position as one of the UK’s most enticing new acts.
Its accompanying visuals tie in perfectly with the overall aesthetic that is birthed by the music, focusing on a downtrodden man that has been accosted into a night on the titles with the band that is chock full of debauchery and inebriation.
