MOGWAI are about to drop new soundtrack album Atomic on 1st April, and have generously dished out another track for its fans to listen to before release.

‘Bitterness Centrifuge’ is the first track to be shared since ‘Ether’. This new song features the wad of instrumental drama that is the centrepiece of every Mogwai track. It is laden with crescendos in a cinematic effect, which is fitting for the style of documentary they are composing for. This is achieved by layered synths and the sustained tremolo guitar work, making it extremely potent and sounding as if aggressive waves are crashing against cliffs.

Atomic is released 1st April, and is the soundtrack to the BBC documentary ‘Atomic, Living in Dread and Promise’. This is the first Mogwai album since the departure of guitarist John Cummings. The album will be released digitally first then on CD and double vinyl on 17th June.
