RISING stars No Windows share dreamy and emotive track ‘Song 01’ released via Fat Possum Records.
Showcasing vibes familiar to fans of Mac DeMarco and NewDad, No Windows continue to display their songwriting maturity ahead of upcoming EP ‘Point Memo’ available later this year.
The Edinburgh duo combine shoegaze guitar tones with infectious, singalong melodies to inspire a mellow listening experience with an alternative-rock edge. A stripped-back middle eight features gentle strumming on an acoustic guitar, climaxing with a blurry, warped chorus.
The track is accompanied by a music video shot by Humble Film Productions, visually encompassing the hazy sounds with distant imagery, showing the two band members dressed in raincoats battling against bleak weather in melancholic fashion.
