CONTINUOUSLY going from strength to strength since they exploded onto the scene last year, Man Of Moon’s ascension to one of the hottest acts in Scotland has been a joy to behold. Catapulted into the more esteemed venues of Glasgow, Edinburgh and the country’s smaller hubs after the release of their debut single, the band cemented their status this year with the release of their outstanding Medicine EP.
Kicking off the October leg of their escapades around the UK today, TTV have the pleasure of unveiling an exclusive duo of the group’s breakout track ‘The Road’ courtesy of elusive bedroom producer Amber Leith.
Carefully deconstructing the track and building the excitement to palpable levels as the listener waits to be rewarded with the rebirth of what was once a trippy, kraut-rock inspired track, Amber Leith transports Chris Bainbridge’s understated vocal delivery from the realm of guitars to that of furious house. Incorporating portions of the original drums and guitar parts but warping them to their own delightfully deranged vision, ‘The Road’ and its hypnotic tendencies remain but seen through a very different but no less enveloping lens.
