THE BAND: One of the most culturally important acts of the past two decades, Braintree based dance pioneers The Prodigy have been teasing their extensive fanbase with tracks from their new album over the past few months. As they prepare to release the fruits of their labour at the end of the month, the visceral ‘Wall Of Death’ has emerged.
THE SOUND: Immediately turning heads with its thrash based guitar riff before erupting into a cacophony of industrial style synths, pulse racing percussion and elements of drum and bass, it is held together by the aggressive vocals of legendary frontman Keith Flint. A track which recalls their Fat Of The Land golden era as well as elements of the much maligned Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned, it is sure to strike a chord with fans both old and new
THE LOWDOWN: Their forthcoming album The Day Is My Enemy is set for release on March 30th via Cooking Vinyl, whilst those looking to catch the band live can do so at festivals such as T In The Park and Isle Of Wight as well as a number of dates listed below.
