TEMPESST have proved their knack for eye-catching music videos once again with the release of this new visual accompaniment for ‘Sunflower Lady’.
With tongue firmly in cheek, the clip sees the band pull out their best rock n roll moves over some psychedelic imagery; from dodgy dance sequences to lighting three cigarettes at once, the band inject some fun into rock’s more serious side.
The track itself is a flamboyant piece of psych-pop; its self-aware lyrics floating over a reverb-soaked backdrop with a brilliantly catchy chorus thrown in for good measure. “Sunflower Lady is about being under the spell of a girl,” explains vocalist Toma Banjanin. “You’d do anything to have her – so I had to write a song about it.”
