INDIE rockers The Dandy Warhols have shared the second single ‘STYGGO’ from their upcoming album Distortland, which continues the return of a band that have been away from the studio album release limelight for four years.
New single ‘STYGGO’ has a beginning reminiscent of Rolling Stones’ ‘Sympathy for the Devil’, but once the vocals and guitar kick in there is that noticeable Dandy Warhols twang. Courtney Taylor-Taylor’s baritone vocal sticks to the conventional staple band sound, with eerie synths and a catchy rhythm.
The band will release Distortland on 8th April 2016 through Dime Alone Records. They will play an extensive UK tour that will wrap up at Liverpool’s Sound City, along with London’s Electric Ballroom on 21st May and Glasgow’s Art School on 26th May.
