VANIVES release their eagerly anticipated debut album ‘Thanks’ on 27th May, which will be followed by their biggest headline show to date at Oran Mor on 29th May.
Ahead of the album’s arrival, the band have shared their final preview single ‘Birds’ – another innovative release that features guest vocals from fellow rising star Tamzene.
Known for pairing their modern and dynamic R&B productions with moments of intimacy and personal reflection, ‘Birds’ sees them appreciate the quiet and everyday normalities of being with someone. With the two lead vocals a complement to each other, it’s a poignant insight into the new album.
They say “‘Birds’ was written with a friend of ours, and artist, Tamzene in 2020. The song is about loving someone for their quiet moments, the moments of subtle conversation, and the moments where being there is enough.”
