TIPPED for greatness since the very moment that they made their way into the consciousness of Scotland’s music lovers, it seems that all of the initial hype surrounding Glasgow trio Baby Strange is coming to fruition and then some.
Released as the B-side to their new single, the band have revealed the psychotic video for ‘Trouble.’ A track that has been a live staple for a considerable length of time, ‘Trouble’ is a bombastic slice of rock ‘n’ roll that recalls the early days of The Walkmen as well as popular British fare such as The Cribs and Franz Ferdinand. Frontman Johnny Madden delivers an inspired and impassioned set of vocals whilst over an absolutely rollicking backdrop that is defined by its unkempt yet accomplished aesthetic.
The B-side to ‘California Sun’, the track is available on limited edition 7′ vinyl via Ignition Records.
