fat white familyARMED with a resolutely DIY approach to every aspect of their persona and manifesto, Fat White Family embody the rebellious spirit of the rock ‘n’ roll trailblazers which preceded them and continue to inspire and shock those whose paths happen to cross with theirs.

Continuing to stay productive after the releasing of the scuzzy  Songs For Our Mothers, the band have raced back into the public eye with the searing new single ‘Breaking Into Aldi.’

Co-written by an all-star team which featured Sean Lennon and Cole Alexander of fellow garage rockers Black Lips, ‘Breaking Into Aldi’ is a rambunctious and squalling affair which is defined by biting vocals, musical dissonance and its comical chorus.

A window into what the band see as a dystopian future for Great Britain as it continues to be plunged into turmoil, band member Lias Saudi has said of the track:

This song is a post apocalyptic vision of a barely united United Kingdom bereft of quality German supermarkets and their insipid low prices; Breaking Into Aldi is the anthem that never was, a call to arms for the senselessness of our future futility, an overcrowded shadow begging for a rerun, a sell out by sell outs for sell outs.
