RESONATE will take over BAaD for another year this Thursday, and Tenement TV are telling you everything you need to know about Scotland’s music industry conference.
What’s On?
Now in it’s second year, Resonate’s lineups of panels, workshops and networking events has grown even stronger. The day kicks off with an opening keynote from Maggie Crowe OBE, offering insights into her extensive career within the British music industry, and how attendees can get the most of attending music conferences. From there on, the day is packed with incredibly insightful panels that span the length and breadth of the music industry. From technical panels including ‘What You Syncing 2.0’, to discussing what is next for the industry with the ‘Future of the Music Industries’ and ‘Scotland and Emerging Market’ talks tackling the issues the industry may face in the future.
For aspiring musicians, Resonate 2018 is offering an unrivalled abundance of talks and workshops for musicians to not only craft their talents, but learn how to get their foot in the door of the music business. Workshops within the ‘Tech Hub’ such as ‘Recording on a Budget’ and ‘Electronic Music Production’, hosted by SAE, will help the next generation of artists master the technical side of music, while A&R chats will give an insight on how musicians can get noticed in the modern music industry.
Resonate 2018 is rounded off with a closing keynote from Tim Abbot. Tim is one of the most highly-regarded artist managers of the last 30 years, spending a chunk of his careers with some of the biggest acts in the world including overseeing Oasis’ rise from King Tut’s to the top of the world. Tim’s career is peppered with incredible stories and insights and an incredible addition to Resonate 2018. Tickets for Resonate 2018 are available now.

Getting Around Resonate 2018
This year’s Resonate conference will take place in the event’s home at Barras Art and Design with talks, workshops and exhibitions taking over the venue for the full day, with lots for attendees to wander between.
