KASABIAN took part in a cutting edge new video filmed and streamed live to the band’s Facebook page last night.
The first of its kind, the video for newest single ‘Are You Looking For Action?’ was e filmed live and shot in one continuous take in a secret East London location. Co-directed by Aitor Thop and Sing J Lee, it follows frontman Tom Meighan and lead guitarist Sergio Pizzorno as they move around a busy nightclub setting in front of a crowd of onlookers.
Bringing an exciting sense of uncertainty to the mix, only certain aspects of the video were controlled with the band improvising along the way. It’s fair to say that fans can expect the unexpected.
Speaking of the video, Serge said ‘The beauty and magic of this video will be the fact that all outfit changes and camera moves will happen live. We wanted to nail it, but we are also excited about the mistakes’.
Kasabian released their sixth studio album For Crying Out Loud last week. They are set to headline Glasgow’s TRNSMT Festival in July.
