THE much loved Pronto Mama have announced that they’ll hold a monthly ‘Beatnik Retreat’ in Glasgow’s Mono.
Set to be held on the final Sunday of every month, the event shall enable creatives working in different fields of writing to not only perform but share a rare insight into their work.
Providing a much needed platform for authors, poets, songwriters and more, its first incarnation will see Louie of Scotland’s premier hip hop outfit Hector Bizerk launch his new book and solo LP, singer/songwriter Mark Mcgowan performing several of his original compositions and will also feature poetry from Aimee Elizabeth Skelton and Michelle Fisher.
Despite not being explicitly stated, its assumed that the band will also take an active role in the proceedings.
