THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT will play an intimate stripped-back gig at Glasgow’s Hard Rock Cafe on Sunday 26th November in support of Nordoff Robbins Scotland. Very limited tickets on sale now here.

The special gig has been announced to coincide with the news that the world-renowned blues rockers have been nominated for the Hard Rock Heals Foundation Best Rock award at this year’s prestigious SSE Scottish Music Awards ceremony.

To celebrate their nomination, the band led by Glasgow born frontman Phil Campbell will host an intimate brunch in Glasgow’s Hard Rock Cafe’s private room on Sunday 26th November with an acoustic set from singer Phil Campbell and Matt White. Kicking off at 12.30pm, attendees will also be provided with breakfast rolls and pastries along with an unmissable opportunity to meet the band. Priced at only £10, it has been confirmed that £6 of the entrance fee will go direct to Nordoff Robbins Scotland, the country’s largest music therapy charity which provides music therapy to over 400 vulnerable children and adults across the country every week.

The Temperance Movement’s nomination for Best Rock comes after their unforgettable headline performance at this year’s Tenement Trail where they performed to a sold out O2 ABC. The band join a star-studded bill at the SSE Scottish Music Awards on 2nd December where they will perform alongside the likes of Emeli Sande, Nina Nesbitt and Lewis Capaldi for the annual event designed to celebrate the best of the Scottish music industry while raising vital funds for Nordoff Robbins Scotland.

Speaking about The Temperance Movement’s nomination and upcoming performance at the SSE Scottish Music Awards, lead singer Phil Campbell said: “We feel so honoured to be nominated for an award at the SSE Scottish Music Awards especially in this category, with such a strong local scene in Scotland and to be recognised in my hometown is amazing. We can’t wait to perform in Glasgow again and to be supporting Nordoff Robbins Scotland is really special as we all believe in the power of music therapy, so see you at Hard Rock Cafe!”

As the ceremony draws ever closer, more nominees and performers will be announced in the coming weeks. Get your tickets now.
