DEAD PONY have shared the title song from their upcoming EP ‘War Boys’, out 0n 23rd September.
Embracing their rockier side more than ever, the new track packs an almighty punch – bursting with heavy, seething riffs, propulsive rhythms and hooks galore. Every single has been as good as the next in the run up to their EP and ‘War Boys’ continues this rich vein of form – they’re a band brimming with confidence and ambition.
Speaking about the upcoming EP, they said “It was a huge challenge for us as previously we’ve only recorded one track at a time,” they explain. “But stepping up has made us much more confident as a unit and hungry to do it again. We’re already thinking ahead to our debut album now!!
“Musically we have fully embraced our rock side – huge riffs, big choruses with a sprinkling of punk and grunge elements. We couldn’t be more proud of how well the singles has been received and can’t wait to get the rest of the tracks out into the world.”
The EP will top off a busy year that has seen them tour all over the UK and play high-profile shows at the likes of Great Escape, TRNSMT, Kendal Calling and many more.
Dead Pony have found their lane and they’re absolutely flourishing in it.
