hindsONE of the greatest success stories of the last year has been Madrid band Hinds, whose fun loving, lo-fi sound has catapulted them to popularity. The four-piece will be releasing their debut album on the 8th January, titled Leave Me Alone.

Before that though, the band have offered fans a little treat by teaming up with their good friends and musical soul mates The Parrots, to create a joint music video. The video is made for a split 7” that the two bands created earlier in the year, with the Parrots covering ‘All My Loving’ by the Almighty Defenders, and Hinds covering ‘Davey Crockett’ by Thee Headcoats.

The video itself is another example of why the bands have gained so much success; portraying their love of good times and good music in a silly but encapsulating way, which sucks you into their laid-back world.

After the release of the album Hinds will be setting off on a tour of the UK, including a show at Stereo, Glasgow on the 21st February. You can also watch our interview with Hinds here.
