JOSH Kelly provides his second offering in the form of ‘I Don’t Need This Anymore’, a catchy indie-pop banger.
Produced by the acclaimed Johnny Madden, influence of The Strokes, FUR and fellow Glaswegian quartet Voodoos are apparent in making up the fast paced indie-rock tune, inevitably set to resonate with listeners with its relatable themes.
Having only released on piece of music preceding ‘I Don’t Need This Anymore’, Josh Kelly’s repertoire of warm sounding feel good tunes has been hinted at expanding even further before the year is out, with more new music being teased already.
Kelly’s first live band performance came in the form of a Parliamo support slot in Oran Mor just last November, and a year later is set for his own headline show. The 23 year old indie pop artist takes to the stage at Room 2 for a headline show with support from Cosmic Empire, The Streams and Vanderlye on Friday 17th November, tickets available now.
