NEON WALTZ have confirmed details of a new EP titled ‘Huna’ and a 10-date UK-wide tour.

After finishing 2019 with a massive run of dates in December which took them on a 4,000km round trip from home and culminated with a sold-out hometown show at Wick’s Assembly Rooms, the band are carrying their momentum through to 2020 with a flurry of exciting announcements.

With four tracks set to appear on the upcoming ‘Huna’ EP, including last year’s stunning ‘All in Good Time’ recording from Freswick Castle, the new collection is the result of the band’s recent recording sessions in the Scottish Highlands. Flushed with confidence, the news of its release arrives with a new preview track called ‘Thanks for Everything’.

Opening in rather unexpected fashion with skittering electronics, a sudden pound of bright keys and guitars then lead us down more recognisable territory, building to a brilliantly anthemic chorus. A triumphant return from the Caithness outfit, it finds Jordan Shearer urging everyone around to confront  “inconvenient truths”. They say:  “This one is based on the fact that our planet is terminally-ill, yet many are oblivious or just don’t care. It’s about wealth, that some don’t have bed to sleep in, but it has become normal and nobody cares. About the people who are doing alright, so ignore inconvenient truths and find new truths to soothe their consciences in the lies of newspapers.”

The ‘Huna’ EP arrives on Friday 27th March with the UK tour to follow. Check out full dates below. Tickets are on sale now.
