band that have garnered themselves quite a following among fans of modern day garage rock and indie pop on account of their infectious and hook laden sound, Public Access TV have been tipped for greatness since the very moment that the boisterous opening strains of ‘Monaco’ first hit our ears last year.

With a set of influences befitting of their hometown of New York City, the band have provided us with a seasonal treat in the form of ‘Here Come The Bells.’

Taking its cues from The New York Dolls, Television, Richard Hell and more of the city’s most heralded artists, ‘Here Come The Bells (Xmas Gift) is unrelenting from the beginning and eschews all of the cliches that one would normally associate with festive music. Billowing with brash, charmingly bratty vocals and an overall air of disregard, it’s an invigorating take on the age old adage of ‘the Christmas song’. Moreover, it’s sure to serve as an excellent introduction for anyone who’s not managed to acquaint themselves with this superb band as of yet.
