INTRODUCING Rory James, a songwriter and producer ready to make his mark on Scotland’s flourishing music scene and beyond.

With an extensive touring history in previous projects, including U.K. and EU tours supporting The 1975 and Catfish and the Bottlemen, James has finally turned his focus to his own solo material – and we’re delighted to reveal it has most definitely been worth the wait.

Having spent a considerable amount of time working away on his craft behind the scenes, only emerging for a few live shows (most recently in support of Joesef and Hot Chip), the producer has unveiled his long-awaited debut single ‘Never Get Tired’.

A brilliant introduction for those not yet acquainted, ‘Never Get Tired’ is a blissful, dreamy slice of electronica. Merging the glorious electro-pop of Caribou with the ravey sounds of Jamie xx and the emotive swells of James Blake, the track packs a punch full of emotion, creativity and intelligence. With new layers revealing themselves upon every listen, it’s deeply affecting music that engages the listener on a cerebral level as much as it lures them to the dancefloor.

Brimming with originality, Rory James effortlessly fuses a myriad of influences to create a unique sound that is sure to mark him out as a standalone talent.
