SWAGERRING in with the kind of loose-hipped, melodious sound that is reminiscent of rock & roll at its most primordial, Peckham-based outfit Tangerines have unveiled a brilliant new track by the name of ‘1945’.

Set to feature on their upcoming debut album, ‘1945’ is the perfect example of a band injecting their own raucous energy and youthful bravado into an array of classic influences. Frontman Gareth Hoskins’ raspy vocals adds a gritty power to the melodious backdrop and country stomp; the swinging rhythms and twanging guitar lines recalling sixties Americana in their loose, carefree delivery. Punchy and infectious while retaining elements of the band’s raucous live energy, it is another tantalising teaser from the forthcoming album.

Into The Flophouse will be released via RIP Records on 12th May. Check out the track below.
