thecribsnewsingleTHE BAND: The Cribs are back and will release their sixth album For All Our Sisters this March. A single to be taken from that release comes in the form of ‘Burning For No One’ through Sonic Blew / Sony Red.

THE SOUND: Recorded in the Autumn of 2014 at New York’s Magic Shop Studio under the guidance of producer and former Cars frontman Ric Ocasek (Weezer), the new track is not a million miles away from the traditional Cribs sound. The band’s Wakefield-soaked vocals are still ever-present. ‘Burning For No One’ is a melodic and at time, melancholy indie track with catchy riffs throughout.

THE LOWDOWN: The sixth album will be released on 23rd March 2015. The band play a handful of shows this month, including a sold-out show at Glasgow’s King Tuts on 20th February 2015 as part of the venues 25th Birthday. Scroll down for UK tour dates and listen to the new single audio below:
