THE SNUTS’ third album ‘Millennials’ arrives on 23rd February on their newly set up label Happy Artist Records. And ahead of its release, they’ve shared another fizzing anthem called ‘Millionaires’.

It’s another infectious stadium filler from the quartet that soars on fuzzing guitars and electronic flourishes – while taking aim at society’s obsession with false happiness and materialistic. Brimming with rose-tinted optimism, it’s about the beauty of living in the moment.

‘Millionaires’, lead singer Jack Cochrane has explained, is about the societal drive for the more materialistic, monetary things in life, rather than what really matters: the here and now, love and friendship; which the singer readily admits, “it’s a cliche, but those are the things in life that are priceless.”

“‘Millionaires’ is about the feeling of not wanting for anything, but surrounding yourself with the people in life that matter,” he adds. “We’ve seen so many toxic individuals creating ‘communities’ online which are teaching young people a negative rhetoric that money, possessions, status and misogyny are paramount for success. If love was money, we’d be millionaires.”
